Marine Engineer
The 28 year old Welsh man has never taken on such a life changing adventure.
Normally at home servicing and repairing marine engines in North Wales, Ben is a friend of Bear from N Wales where Bear's family lives on a small remote, offshore island. Together Ben and Bear are endlessly fighting tide, weather and sea in RIBs, back and forward to the island!
When given the opportunity to challenge himself in the NorthWest
Passage, Ben grabbed it with both hands. The first part of the
mission was to get a passport, as the intrepid young man had never
been abroad.
As a fully qualified Marine Engineer, Ben Jones is more than
capable of dealing with any issue that may arise on the Hurricane,
from engines' servicing, engine preparation, to changing propellers
at sea!
